| The history of wine can be traced back almost 8000 years. Findings suggest winegrowing originated in the near Middle Eastern regions. It was only much later that this grape nectar made its triumphal way to Europe via the near east, Greece and out to the many wine growing regions of the modern world.
In comparison the VinAustria is still fairly young. For 14 years this event has been a meeting place for trade visitors from the catering, restaurant and hotel industries, and for private enthusiasts and connoisseurs. Around 100 domestic and foreign exhibitors will be here to showcase products from the following sectors:
